send'em a care package! send'em your love!

Hey Friends!

This Thanksgiving will be our first here in Chattanooga, TN.... our first with Asher at the table, & our first one to host!  I love holidays for the sake of family & friends coming together.  I think it's such a picture of Heaven on earth!  My heart holds countless memories of holidays spent at my grandparent's houses growing up; memories I will forever hold SO tightly. I would count down the days to seeing all my cousins & eating my grandmother's deliciously perfect spread.  Never did I know how subliminally those days would transcend into adulthood... As I sit here & put together a menu for Thanksgiving, I want it to model after both of my Grandmothers'! I want our house to be one of excitement & peace, simultaneously existing so perfectly! I want to seem flawless in the kitchen & not break a sweat or even mutter a cuss word in frustration. (this is just a very high hope, dear friends. very.)  My Grandmothers have been such an example to me of serving selflessly.  I hope to forever honor them in my days of becoming a well-seasoned woman, wife, mother, friend, daughter, etc.

So, all that being said... this is a Thanksgiving of which my grandparents won't be sitting around the table with me, & I do mourn that!  My mom's parents, Granny & Papa, will be at their lake house in Brownwood, TX; while my Dedaddy will be without his bride for the first time in...years. In wanting to honor them, love them, & attempt to bring some warmth their way-- I put together a simple little care package with homemade, pumpkin, chocolate chip cookies, some recent pictures, a cute card, & some artwork from the little hands of Asher Bryant. I do pray, that in pure love, their hearts are warmed! 

AND THEN, I thought, "Hey. Wouldn't it be a neat idea to give others the opportunity to send their grandparents a little care package with homemade cookies & a sweet card of love?"  Sometimes getting all of that together, all the little details-- cookie ingredients, shrink wrap, writing a letter, buying a box, making it cute, going to the post office, etc... is just too much. YET, you want to!  You want to send a little something to them, letting them know you love them & care! I totally feel ya... and, because I have a more flexible schedule, I'd love to do that for you! 
AND THEN, I felt urged to share 10% of all proceeds with an amazing non-profit started by our friends, Ryan & Anna Carmichael. You can read all about One Heart Africa: HERE!

It doesn't have to be your grandparents... you could send them to a loved one, an old friend, a new Mama, a friend whom you are currently at odds with, your parents, a sibling, ole Uncle Bill, your mid-wife, a family who will experience their first holiday with an empty seat at the table, your childhood BFF, your spouse, or me... whomever!

You email me at: kellye324@yahoo.com & I will then send you some questions to answer, along with how to pay up. These will be sent out depending on your order date, which are all detail we can discuss via email!

The Basic: two dozen homemade cookies of your choice & a handmade card with sentimental words of your choice, all wrapped up in a cute little box, with cute tissue paper! --$50

The Overflow: three dozen cookies, all of your choice & a handmade card with sentimental words of you choice, wrapped in that cute little box & adorable tissue paper! -- $75

Being Simple: a handmade card, with your choice of sweet words!-- $5

(I am totally open to other cookies, especially if you are needing a gluten free, vegan, or vegetarian option!  Cost may vary as the ingredients do. I am flexible! Don't be shy, just ask me.)
